Blogtober 2025 : Post 28
Helloππ
I imagine that a lot of us have already started thinking about crafting for Christmas, some may have already got some things made, others may still be in the deciding zone. I'm in the latter.
Not yet finished!
There are a few things that I would like to make this year, mostly decorative, but I am undecided on what exactly to do and in what order to do them. I'm also not sure about gifting anything this Christmas. It sometimes strikes me as unfair that I might make something for one person but not another, but I also don't like being overwhelmed with descisions about what to make for whom. It's bad enough choosing presents for people most years anyway!

One thing I will be doing is making my Christmas Cards early. I say it every year but generaly don't, this year I am determined to get them made before December! I have everything I need, including new stickers, so all I have to do is dedicate some time to actually doing it!
Whatever else I decide to make will be crocheted, it is my thing after all and I can't resist using sparkly yarns, which are a must for Christmas makes I think! My Sister got me a book on Wreath making for my Birthday, so I'm quite keen on making a small one for the household to enjoy. I have a few metal hoops I took out of some old Lamp Shades that I've been meaning to do something with, they've been hanging around a while, so again I have everything I need to get going.

And then of course I have my Wooden Christmas Trees to play with! Oooh the possibilities!
Ending on a sad note, it was announced earlier today that the actress Prunella Scales had died. Many people remember her from "Fawlty Towers" or in later years "Great Canal Journeys", but I also have fond memories of watching her in another sitcom called "After Henry". She had been living with dementia for a number of years and lost her husband, the actor Timothy West, last year. Condolences to her family and friends.π
Till tomorrow,ππ
