April and May...
Hello๐๐ I have been trying to get this post done for weeks now but I just haven't been able to spend enough time on it in any one go to get anything done! And now, I'm posting as it is because here in the UK, we're having a heat wave which means no crochet for old sweaty-hands here! Anyway, here are the last few squares for the Sampler Blanket I've been working on. This is Star Stitch, isn't it pretty!? It works well in one colour but as I'm trying to add a bit of variety I did it in several. This is probably one of the most non-basic stitches I've done, I love the pattern of it. The definition and texture is also quite appealing. This is Tunisian Arrow Head Stitch. I have only ever seen it used in one colour or with a variegated yarn, but never in two colours like this. I think it looks quite good. And yes, it does need blocking! ...
