A Mugful Of Crochet

       Hello 👋😀      We've actually had some very nice sunny days this month, even some warmth too if you ignore the occasional chilly breeze. It does make a change from all the sodding (and sodden) grey days we've had over the last several months. And the flowers and blossoms have responded very well to it, so I thought I'd start this post with some pictures from the garden.      Is there anything that shouts Spring more loudly than a Daffodil? These are one of the small varieties, Tête à Tête I think.      Primroses probably top a few peoples list of spring flowers.      An Anemone. It's the only one that grows here for some reason.      The Violets are just starting to come out. For such a small flower they are incredibly pretty.        We've got an old washing-up bowl with some wonderful Forget-Me-Nots in - I love the Blue!!      The Forsythia has done ...

     Hello👋😀 Well, we've, had some winter warmers,    And lots of autumn leaves,    We've had some summer flowers, So here's something for the spring,    We've rocked a drum stool cover,   And a Pansy on the green, Started half a cushion,  And found time for some shopping,   And now Blogtober's over I've got nothing else to say, Except for "Lets get cracking, on makes for Christmas Day!"        Hello👋😃      I thought we'd have a photo📸 day today!      🌳The Rowan Tree hasn't really performed well this year but the colours of its leaves at the moment is just brilliant!             🍄Finally we have some Toadstools that look as they did last year! The others we've had have all been much paler, almost sickly, and after the drenching they got on the 18th/19th of October they all went black!           🍁🍂My Mother and I were only saying yesterday that we hadn't seen many of next door's Acer Tree leaves, and then today - loads of 'em on the patio! Well done wind!      🌺Despite the season and the weather many of the Fuchsias Plants have beautifully waxy buds and the flowers are still opening!        🎨Art.      Hello!👋😀      Yes, it's me! Again! And look, we're in double digits now!      I thought today we'd have a break from the crochet and have a 🌺Floral Interlude🌻 instead, just so that we can remember that Summer🌞 was here. For a little while.      Cue gentle summery music, and...                                   That was nice weren't it? It was so hot and dry during the summer I'm surprised much flowered at all, but at least we had something.   Bye for now👋😃
